Coquitlam: The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) on Thursday said a suspect has been charged in connection with the murder of 44-year old Stephanie Patterson. 

The suspect has been identified as 57-year old David Hall of Coquitlam, who will now face charge of second degree murder. 

On August 15, IHIT was dispatched to after Stephanie Patterson’s body was located in a rural area in Mission. 

According to IHIT, Patterson had been reported missing to the Coquitlam RCMP on August 12 and Coquitlam RCMP’s investigation led to the arrest of David Hall. 

On August 15, Hall was arrested for the murder of Patterson after further evidence was learned.

Stephanie Patterson was a member of kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) council.
