Chandigarh: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted raids in Punjab and Haryana in connection with funding the terrorist organization Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF). Raids were conducted at nine places in Punjab and one place in Haryana.
Apart from raising funds for the KTF, the raids were also conducted on those involved in the conspiracy to smuggle arms, ammunition and explosives from across the border. However, its details have not been revealed yet officially.
According to sources, KTF was preparing for major incidents in Punjab and Haryana, which includes from blasts to target killings. On decoding his plan, the NIA came to know that many locals were funding him.
Officials said that many anti-national elements are helping in smuggling weapons and explosives across the border and especially from Pakistan. After which a raid was conducted on people suspected to be associated with KTF.
