Chandigarh: Jalandhar Police took out a flag march and appealed to the people to maintain peace on the anniversary of Operation Blue Star. Under the supervision of Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal, ADCP City 2 Aditya, ACP Central Nirmal Singh along with police from many police stations along with their team took out a flag march in crowded areas.
The flag march was taken out from Shri Ram Chowk (Milap Chowk) to Patel Chowk. The police have taken out this march to maintain law and order in the city. During this, the police also appealed to the people and said that do not pay attention to rumors spreading on social media.
ADCP 2 Aditya said that Jalandhar Police is taking action to catch the miscreants in the city and maintain law and order.
“We also conducted checking operations at different places in the city. The purpose of this campaign is to keep the mischievous antics under control. So that there is peace in the city.”
The police have appealed to the residents of Jalandhar not to pay attention to the fake news spreading on social media. At the same time, if any person does wrong, then inform 112 and the police. So that the police can take their own action on that matter.
