New Delhi: After the spectacular victory in the Karnataka elections, the Congress is upbeat and hoping for a better performance in the upcoming elections.

Exuding confidence of a landslide victory, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, referring to the preparations for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, said that his party is going to repeat what they did in Karnataka, Congress will get 150 seats in Madhya Pradesh this time.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, general secretary KC Venugopal and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with party leaders from Madhya Pradesh at the party headquarters in Delhi. State party chief Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh and other leaders were present.

After this meeting, Rahul Gandhi said, “We had a long discussion, our internal assessment is that we got 136 seats in Karnataka, we are going to get 150 seats in Madhya Pradesh.”

After a meeting with the party president and other leaders at the Congress headquarters in Delhi, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and state party chief Kamal Nath said that a very important meeting was held now, how to strategize in the elections, how to secure the future of Madhya Pradesh.
