Vancouver: After nearly one year, a man has been charged in relation to the stabbing of a 19-year-old man.
The suspect, identified as Mohammed Cortes Torres (25), has been charged with second-degree murder.
According to the Vancouver police, homicide detectives launched an investigation on May 23, 2022, following the death of Naseb Fazil, who was involved in a confrontation outside the Gallery nightclub where he was stabbed.
The police said Torres was a Surrey resident at the time of the homicide and it is believed that he was more recently staying on Vancouver Island.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday.
