New Delhi: A supplementary charge sheet has been filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi Excise Policy case.
Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha’s name has now surfaced in the excise policy case. According to the ED chargesheet, Manish Sisodia’s PA C Arvind has named Raghav Chadha in his statement.
According to the charge sheet, C Arvind said in his statement that a meeting was held at Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s residence in which Raghav Chadha, Punjab Excise Commissioner, Excise Officer and Vijay Nair were present.
Raghav Chadha’s name is mentioned in the charge sheet. However, he has not been named as an accused.
The ED said in the charge sheet that Vijay Nair, along with Arun Pillai, Abhishek Boinpalli and Buchi Babu, arranged the Zoom call. It said that Vijay Nair was an important member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and was managing the excise policy.
In the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate, it has been claimed that Delhi’s new excise policy was the brain child of Arvind Kejriwal. Along with this, the charge sheet also mentions the poem of Telangana CM’s daughter. The chargesheet states that K Kavitha had held several meetings with Vijay Nair after the excise policy was formulated and implemented.
