Jaipur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Rao Bhagwat addressed the ‘Seva Sangam’ in Jaipur today. During this, he said that service is the natural expression of humanity of man. The service done by Hindu spiritual gurus in the southern provinces far exceeds that of missionaries.
Around 3,000 delegates from over 800 voluntary service organisations from across the country are participating in the event.
This is the third mega conglomerate of Seva Bharati engaged in the upliftment of the deprived, oppressed, neglected and deprived brothers.
Mohan Bhagwat said, “After saying service, the intellectuals of the country usually take the name of missionaries. Missionaries run many schools and hospitals around the world, it is known to all. But in the southern provinces, the service that our acharyas, munis and sannyasis of the spiritual field do together, is many times more than the service of missionaries.”
He said, “I’m not talking about competition. More than them, less than them, this is not my measure.” He said that service creates a healthy society, but to create a healthy society, it first makes us healthy.
Bhagwat’s address was held on the first day of the three-day Seva Sangam held at Keshav Vidyapith in Jamdoli on Friday.
Various organizations from all over the country who came from all over the country and are working for education, health and making India self-reliant displayed their service work at the stalls.
