Toronto: Winnipeg has been chosen to host the 112th edition of Grey Cup in 2025. Canadian Football League (CFL) made an announcement in this regard on Tuesday.
It will be the fifth time that the Grey Cup will be hosted by Winnipeg. The city hosted the tournament for the first time in 1991.
Making the announcement, CFL commissioner Randy Ambroise said, “As a proud Winnipegger, I am absolutely elated to announce the return of Grey Cup to my hometown.”
This year, the tournament will be played at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton on November 19.
Next year in 2024, Grey Cup will be hosted by Vancouver.
