New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has reached Tihar Jail to interrogate Manish Sisodia in the Delhi excise policy case. This is the first time that the ED is questioning former Delhi Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in an excise case.
Manish Sisodia has been sent to judicial custody till March 20 by a Delhi court in the excise case. His bail hearing will be held on March 10.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s statement has come out on this interrogation of ED. He said Sisodia has transformed schools. Sisodia brought quality education to the poor.
Manish and Satyendra can also give their lives for the country.
Kejriwal further said, “The PM of the country supports those who loot the country, there is no one left to work for the common people. I will pray for the country all day on Holi… The countrymen will also take care of God along with me.”
On Monday, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court sent AAP leader Manish Sisodia to judicial custody till March 20. Sisodia was arrested on February 26 in an ongoing probe into a case related to alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the excise policy of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD).
