Gurugram: The Gurugram police have accused man in connection with the theft of flower pots installed for the G-20 summit in a luxury car. The arrested person has been identified as Manmohan Singh.

The Gurugram police arrested Manmohan and recovered the stolen pots from the car.

The car is registered from Hisar in Haryana and the accused is a resident of Gurugram. Pots of these plants were placed at the G20 conference to decorate the city.

The number of the luxury car of the thieves is also VIP. GMADA had given a complaint to the police after the video of the theft went viral.

The video, which is going viral on social media, is from Shankar Chowk in Gurugram. It is seen that a car stops near the chowk and two people get down from the car.

At the intersection, pots of special types of plants kept for decoration are picked up and placed in the car’s trunk. The G-20 conference at Leela Hotel in Ambience Mall, Gurugram, have been going on in full swing for a long time.

In this, the city is being decorated to impress guests coming from abroad. Special types of plants are also being planted on the pavement on both sides of the roads.

Haryana BJP spokesperson Raman Malik shared the video. He has appealed to the Gurugram police-administration and the Haryana Chief Minister’s Office to take action. “This man came in a car worth Rs 40 lakh and is stealing the saplings brought for the G20 summit. The loot of plants in broad daylight is shameful.”
