Nava Raipur: A three-day convention of the Congress is going on in Chhattisgarh. Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party government have taken over all institutions and the fire of hatred is being spread along with suppressing the voice of the opposition.

Sonia Gandhi alleged that the BJP was inciting the fire of hatred and targeting minorities, Dalits, tribals and women.

Gandhi also alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-RSS government have taken over all institutions and the voice of the opposition is being suppressed.

“It was an honour for me that I took over as Congress president in 1998. In the last 25 years, the party has achieved many big achievements and also suffered disappointment,” she said.

She said it was a very happy situation that his stint as president came to an end with the ‘Bharat Jodho Yatra’. Gandhi said the visit has enriched the legacy of dialogue between the Congress and the people. She thanked Rahul Gandhi for the visit.
