New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2019-20 in the Parliament today. Reacting to this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this budget will benefit every section of the society. The largest food storage plan is made.

He said that this budget is the axis of rural development. Now digital payments will also be seen in the agriculture sector. We have focused on technology and New India. This will provide employment to a very large population. This is a budget for a sustainable future. This budget will promote ease of living.

PM Modi said that the first budget of amrit period has provided the basis for the fulfillment of the resolution of a developed India. The budget will fulfil the dreams of aspiration-driven society, farmers, middle class. Priority has been given to the deprived class in the budget.

“Today, when millets are becoming popular all over the world, its biggest benefit is in the fate of small farmers of India. Now this ‘super food’ has been given a new identity in the name of ‘Shri Anna’. ‘Shri Anna’ will provide financial strength to our small farmers and tribal brothers and sisters who are engaged in farming,” he said.

Modi said that a special savings scheme for women is also being launched in this budget. This budget will make cooperatives the pivot of the rural economy. An ambitious scheme to create new primary cooperatives has also been announced in this budget.
