Chandigarh: Former Congress MLA from Punjab’s Faridkot Kushaldeep Singh alias Kiki Dhillon has been summoned by the vigilance office. It is being told that Kiki is being questioned by vigilance officers as to how he has created more property than his income.
According to sources, vigilance officials had already started investigating at their level before summoning Kiki.
Today, Kiki is being called to the office and questioned in this case. Vigilance is also investigating Kiki’s bank account and other details.
According to the information, Kiki Dhillon has furnished details to the Election Commission of his agricultural land and business records ahead of the elections.
His total income is stated to be 5,760,000. He has liabilities of Rs 34,000,000, movable assets of Rs 37,000,000, immovable assets of Rs 133,000,000 and assets of Rs 171,000,000.
Vigilance is also examining the old records. After the AAP came to power in Punjab, vigilance is also taking strict against former leaders. The scams committed by former ministers and former MLAs are being continuously investigated and many former ministers were also apprehended by the Punjab Police.
