Bathinda: At a time the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) are vehemently opposing parole of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, after Sirsa, a big satsang event of Ram Rahim is going to be held in Punjab tomorrow.
According to the information received, the satsang of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim is going to be held through video conferencing on Sunday at Salabatpura Dera in Bathinda in which dera followers from all over Punjab are expected to reach. This event is being organized to celebrate the birthday of the second Dera chief of Dera Sacha Sauda, Shah Satnam.
Ram Rahim will perform a virtual satsang from Barnawa Ashram in Uttar Pradesh. Security has been tightened outside the Salabatpura dera.
Ram Rahim Singh has come out of jail on parole after 54 days. He has been granted parole for the fourth time in 14 months.
Ram Rahim has been granted parole for 21 days for the first time, 30 days for the second time, forty days for the third time and now forty days for the fourth time.
Meanwhile, SGPC has announced to approach the Punjab and Haryana High Court against Ram Rahim’s parole. Similarly, Akali Dal has also strongly objected to holding this satsang and blamed centre government and ruling AAP party in Punjab for trying to spoil peaceful atmosphere of the state.
