New Delhi: Man accused of urinating on woman in Air India flight has been arrested by the Delhi Police from Bengaluru
Shankar Mishra, who was arrested last night, was brought to Delhi from Bengaluru. He will be produced before the court today. In fact, on November 26 last year, an Air India flight was reaching Delhi from New York. During this time, Shankar Mishra, who was traveling in business class, became intoxicated and urinated on a 70-year-old woman.
A case under Sections 354, 294, 509 and 510 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered against the man after receiving a complaint from the woman.
Delhi Police is trying to trace the location to find Shankar Mishra. Mishra’s last location was found in Bengaluru, on the basis of which he was searched. Mishra, however, was switching off his phone. At the same time, he has now been arrested.
Shankar Mishra fired by the company
Earlier, due to serious allegations against Shankar Mishra, his company Welf Fargo fired him from his job. “The company expects high behaviour from its employees professionally and personally. The allegations against Shankar are very disturbing, due to which he was terminated from the company. The company also said that we will fully cooperate in this investigation.”
