Chandigarh: The Income Tax Department has raided 4 places including house in Batala of Punjab singer Ranjit Bawa.
According to the information received, the Income Tax Department started its investigation in the morning. At present, no one is allowed inside the house or anyone is to go out from the house. Police have been deployed outside the house.
In the morning, teams reached the Greater Kailash bungalow in Batala, native village Wadala Granthi and his residence in Chandigarh. The entire house and office premises were sealed. At present, the documents received from the cells and offices are being evaluated.
Not only Punjabi singer Ranjit Bawa, a team of income tax department also reached the house of his PA and friend Deputy Vohra. Here too, the officials searched the house and are evaluating the goods found.
Meanwhile, separate teams of IT department raided the house of punjabi singer Kanwar Grewal in Mohali Sector 104 on Monday morning. He owns a flat in Taj Towers in Mohali. CRPF personnel also arrived during this sudden raid.
