Chandigarh: Former Punjab Chief Minister and BJP leader Captain Amarinder Singh raised questions about the future of the Punjab government at a TV interview today. He said that this government has started to decline in six months.

“Who is the chief minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann or Raghav Chadha? Raghav Chadha is looking at all the files of the government, Bhagwant Mann is just signing them,” he said.

Capt said, “Their (Aam Aadmi Party government) downfall is happening very quickly. Their position is going down in six months. People in villages are saying that this government will not be able to run. They have no future in Punjab. There are many reasons for this.

Law and Order is total out of control. Gangsterism, drug business, terrorism from Pakistan… And terrorism and drugs are intertwined. All these things come out. It started in my government too, we dealt with it very strictly. Now there is no strictness, do whatever you want. Not a single day goes by when there is no law and order problem.”

He said Punjab has “economic issues, they are not over yet”. The farmers’ issue is not over yet. What is their public stand and what is reality do not meet each other.
