New Delhi: After 59 deaths due to poisonous liquor in Saran (Chhapra) of Bihar, now the series of deaths has started in Siwan too as 5 deaths have been reported here and two people have also died in Teghada of Begusarai.

The total death toll due to poisonous liquor in Bihar has increased to 66. There was a fierce uproar in the Assembly for the third consecutive day. Chairs were broken. The opposition reached Raj Bhavan demanding the dismissal of the government.

Led by Leader of Opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha, opposition leaders took out a march to Raj Bhavan. He met the Governor and requested his intervention. The opposition also demanded the dismissal of the government.

At the same time, Sinha said that whoever dies due to the failure of the government, due to the bullets of criminals or due to poisonous liquor, the government should give compensation. Make a law for this. The government is protecting criminals. ‘Liquor, sand and corruption’ has become the agenda of the government.

Earlier, Sinha raised the demand in the House to give 10 lakh compensation to the victim’s family. On this, Nitish said, “If you die after drinking alcohol, will the government pay compensation?” I won’t give you a penny.”

The deaths in Siwan have taken place in Brahmasthan village under Bhagwanpur Hat police station area.

A new revelation has now been made in the poisonous liquor scandal in Chhapra. A large quantity of spirit is missing from the container of spirit seized at the police station here.

It is suspected that this poisonous liquor was made from this, which led to the deaths. It was not supplied from anywhere else, but from the police station. As proof of this, the villagers have made a video and sent it to the Chief Secretary of the Excise Department KK Pathak.

After the complaint, the Chief Secretary came into action and sent Joint Commissioner Krishna Paswan and Deputy Secretary Niranjan Kumar for investigation. When they saw that the drums of the seized spirit were open. Spirit was missing. Now the sample has been sent to Patna. Those who have complained have said that from there, with the help of the watchman and the police, the spirit was supplied from the police station to the businessmen. The lids of many containers are missing.

Death toll in Saran reaches 59

The number of deaths due to alcohol in Saran rose to 59. On the first day, 5 deaths were reported on Tuesday. After this, 25 people died on Wednesday and 19 on Thursday. By Friday morning, 10 more people had consumed poisonous liquor. Most of the deaths have been reported from Mashrakh, Amanor and Marhaura areas of Chhapra.

These people were undergoing treatment in private clinics or at home. Among the dead are three people who were selling liquor on their own.
