Toronto: A 20-year-old man was shot dead in Hamilton on Sunday. The police believe that the man was targeted happened after 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Police were called in the Crown Point West neighbourhood, near King Street East and Dunsmure Road.
Police reached the spot and found that one person had been shot and was badly injured. He was declared dead on the spot.
No information has been released by the police about the suspects at the moment.
“Hamilton Police are investigating a homicide in #HamOnt after a shooting near King St.E & Dunsmure Road. The victim is a male in his 20s. Homicide unit is investigating & the incident is believed to be targeted. There will be a police presence in the area throughout the day,” Hamilton police wrote in a tweet.
