Property to be investigated

In the notice given by the Vigilance Bureau at the former Deputy CM’s house, he has been asked to present information and details related to income. It is clear that income from 2017 to 2022 can be examined during this period. Not only this, during this time details of his property have also been sought from him.

Name also came up in sanitizer scam

In July this year, the former deputy CM’s name was also cropped in the sanitizer scam. Soni, however, denied it. OP Soni was accused of buying sanitisers at three times higher prices during Covid when he was health minister. All its records were sought by the revenue department. For the Election Commission, 1.80 lakh bottles were purchased at the rate of Rs 54.54 per bottle. While the health department was buying the same sanitizer for itself at a price of about three times more at Rs 160 per bottle.
