Chandigarh: Police have registered a case in Ludhiana against hardliner Amritpal Singh for giving hate speech and threatening Punjab Congress chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring.
The accused booked for threatened to promote weapons, stock weapons and kill Congress state president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring. The accused, Amritpal Singh Mahiron, is a resident of a village in Moga district. He is currently out of police custody, police said.
ACP Detective Sumit Sood said that Amritpal in an interviews to an online news channel threatened the Warring.
According to the police, Amritpal has vitiated the atmosphere of Punjab by making aggressive statements. At the same time, he is luring the younger generation by using inflammatory terminology.
At the same time, he is also talking about arms show / stock. The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections on the statements of ACP Sumit Sood. The accused is yet to be arrested.
