Chandigarh: Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s mother Charan Kaur and father Balkaur Singh reached the UK today. They left for the UK on Friday night from Chandigarh.

Last month, Moosewala’s parents had given a month’s ultimatum to the Punjab government to settle abroad if the justice was not delivered. But it is said that they would return to India soon.

Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur were spotted at the Mohali airport. After some of their pictures went viral on social media, there has been uneasiness among Moosewala’s fans. In the pictures, they were seen going inside the airport and checking at immigration counter.

Cycle rally on November 24

Sidhu Moosewala’s fans settled in England have also launched a campaign to get justice for the family. On November 24, a cycle rally has been organized by fans outside the England Parliament. Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur have left for England to participate in it.

After gangster Tinu’s escape and remaining arrest of some assailants, Balkaur Singh had given a month’s time to the government and said that if his son gets justice, then it is fine, otherwise he will withdraw his son’s complaint and go abroad.

Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in a village in Mansa on May 29. The responsibility for Moosewala’s murder was taken by jailed Lawrence Bishnoi and Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar. Police have made more than 25 arrests in the case.
