Chandigarh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Himachal Pradesh on November 5, but before that he will reach Radha Soami Dera at Beas in Amritsar, Punjab.

It may be a political tour, but the farmers have opened a front before he reaches Beas. The farmers have also requested dera head not to meet the PM.

The Prime Minister is reaching Himachal on Saturday. There is significant Radha Soami Dera followers in the HP. In view of this, he is reaching Dera Beas and will also meet Dera head, but the farmers have made up their mind to oppose his visit in the Punjab.

The farmers have announced that they will burn effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi across Punjab.

Appeal to heads of Dera-religious institutions not meet PM

The farmers union have also appealed to the heads of Dera and religious institutions in Punjab not to meet the Prime Minister. They said that the Prime Minister is not in favor of farmers and laborers.

Farmer leader Saravana Singh Pandher said the PM Modi made efforts to save the home minister’s son in Lakhimpur Kheri. The farmers who died in Delhi are yet to get justice. Whatever promises were made by PM Modi, they have not been fulfilled. Whenever the Prime Minister comes to Punjab, they will oppose his visit.
