Chandigarh: There has been uproar after several BJP leaders from Haryana attended Ram Rahim’s online satsang after Dera Sacha Sauda, who is serving a 20-year jail for raping his two disciples, being released on 40 days bail.
Now a former Union Minister of BJP also attended the satsang. Dera devotees from Hanumangarh Junction in Rajasthan gave this information, however, they did not disclose the name of the leader. In fact, in the satsang, Haryana’s Deputy Speaker and Nalwa MLA Ranbir Gangwa also reached.
Earlier, during the online satsang, Ram Rahim has announced that Dera is building a new camp in Sunam, Punjab.
Dera followers expressed their desire to convert Sunam Naam Charcha Ghar into Dera in front of Ram Rahim. On this Ram Rahim agreed and issued orders to the admin block responsible. Ram Rahim asked the followers whether there is a place to build a dera? They responded that they would buy the land around Naam Charcha Ghar. Ram Rahim agreed to this.
In such a situation, now a dera will be formed in Punjab. Till now, the second largest dera is in Salabatpura in Bathinda, Punjab. Which comes second after Sirsa headquarters of Haryana.
Controversy may erupt over the formation of a new Dera in Punjab
The Dera followers were booked in the sacrilege case of Guru Granth Sahib, Bargari incident and Maur Mandi blast. From Ram Rahim to Dera Management, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been interrogated in these incidents.
The SIT wanted to bring Ram Rahim on production warrant, but the Punjab and Haryana High Court stayed it. After this, the Punjab Police interrogated Ram Rahim in Sunaria Jail. In the year 2007, Ram Rahim dressed like Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji in Dera Salabatpura, on which there was a dispute. Since then disputes have been going on between Dera lovers and Sikhs.
Parole to Ram Rahim before every election
Ram Rahim has been lodged in Sunaria jail since August 2017. Ram Rahim was first brought to PGI Rohtak and Gurugram on the pretext of medical examination to meet his ailing mother. Ram Rahim got a furlough of 21 days on February 7 just before the Punjab elections this year.
After this, on June 17, Ram Rahim was given parole for 30 days and he stayed at Baghpat Ashram in UP. Now in October 2022, Ram Rahim has got 40 days parole. Now Adampur by-elections, Panchayat elections of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh elections are going to be held in November 2022. Before that again Ram Rahim came out.
