Chandigarh: A day after former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal was questioned in Kotkapura firing by Special Investigation Team (SIT), another SIT questioned SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal on Thursday in connection with Behbal firing incident.
The investigation team is headed by Inspector General Naunihal Singh questioned Badal at the Police Officers Institute in Sector 32 here.
Parkash Badal was questioned for about three hours yesterday in connection with the Kotkapura police firing incident as he was CM of Punjab and his son Sukhbir was Deputy CM when the both incidents occurred in 2015.
The back to back questioning to Badal family is being took place before 7th anniversary of the firing incidents on October 14.
Talking to media, Badal said that he has furnished complete information to the investigation team but if the investigation team again needed, he would appear again.
“My only request is that the issue should not be kept pending and justice should be done at the earliest,” he said.
