New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA), have again raided the premises of PFI. The NIA had earlier arrested PFI member Shafiq Paith from Kerala, who revealed during interrogation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Patna rally this year was on the target of popular front of India.

Based on the lead that the NIA had found in the earlier raids, this time it is raiding 25 locations in 8 states. Other agencies, including the NIA, are carrying out this raid in collaboration with the police of 8 states.

According to sources, several PFI members have also been detained by the agencies.

The ATS team is also raiding west UP again regarding PFI. The ATS team has detained many people from Meerut-Bulandshahr and interrogation is going on. Apart from this, a suspect has also been detained from Sitapur.

Raids were conducted at more than 100 locations

The Karnataka Police arrested the SDPI secretary, including the PFI president of the district, this morning as part of the action. PFI district president Abdul Karim and SDBI secretary Sheikh Masksood were also arrested. PFI remains on the radar of other agencies including NIA. In the past, more than 100 locations of PFI were raided.

5 FIRs under UAPA

The ED and state police, along with the NIA team, conducted raids on September 22 and arrested 106 PFI men. At the same time, the NIA also registered 5 FIRs under the UAPA.
