Chandigarh: In the audio clip leak case of Cabinet Minister Fauja Singh Sarari, is likely to be expelled from the Cabinet post after his audio clip of planning extortion money from transporters have gone viral, which led to a political turmoil in the state.

Due to this case of Cabinet Minister Sarari, the reputation of the AAP government is also at stake and on the other hand, the opposition parties already launched fierce attack on the Mann government.

According to sources, the AAP government is set to take a bold decision on this matter in a day or two. The Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha is closely monitoring the matter and today he held separate meetings with Cabinet Minister Fauja Singh Sarari and his former OSD Tarsem Lal Kapoor.

According to the information, Tarsem Lal Kapoor has also handed over the evidence against the minister to Raghav Chadha today. Sources say that Chadha has informed AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal about this. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who is currently on a visit to Germany, has received a report on the entire matter. Sources say that the Chief Minister wants strict action to be taken in this matter.

According to sources, the AAP government has postponed the decision on cabinet minister Sarari by a day or two due to the hue and cry over the BJP’s alleged horse-trading of AAP MLAs in Punjab.

Sources say that the AAP government is in the mood to take strict action on the issue of Sarari.

Recently, an audio clip of a conversation between cabinet minister Sarari and his OSD Tarsem Lal Kapoor was leaked which allegedly indicated a deal was struck. Kapoor has also revealed that he had also sent this audio to the anti-corruption helpline issued by the Chief Minister.

Earlier, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had also sacked Vijay Singla, a minister in his government, in a corruption case. Now leader of opposition Partap Singh Bajwa and Congress president Raja Warring had also demanded that CM Mann should sack Sarari from the post.
