New Delhi: The Air India flights from Punjab’s Amritsar airport to Birmingham will fly twice a week in October. Earlier, this flight was flying once a week.
Due to the high demand, this decision has been taken and now it would also provide relief to pockets of the passengers.
According to Air India’s website, the Amritsar-Birmingham flight used to fly every Friday, but due to demand, it has been decided to run it twice a week in the month of October.
The flight will fly from Birmingham to Amritsar every Sunday and from Amritsar to Birmingham on Monday as well.
For the month of October, this flight will fly every Friday from Birmingham to Amritsar and from Amritsar to Birmingham every Saturday.
At present, no change has been made in its time. The flight will depart from Amritsar at 12:45 pm and reach Birmingham in 9 hours. The flight from Birmingham will take off at 8:30 pm and reach Amritsar in 8:10 hours.
Tickets are currently available for Rs 51,000. Passengers are going to get the direct benefit of the start of this new flight. At present, Air India is booking only for the month of October for this flight.
