New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested a couple from Punjab with 7 kg heroin in Udhampur district.
Addressing the media, ADGP (Jammu) Mukesh Singh said Lovepreet Singh, a resident of Ram Tirath Road in Amritsar, and his wife Mandeep Kaur were allegedly carrying drugs in their car when they were nabbed in Udhampur.
“These are inter-state drug smugglers and a case has been registered against them under relevant sections of the law,” he said.
