Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Talwandi Sabo in Punjab, Professor Baljinder Kaur, became a victim of domestic violence. She was slapped by her husband Sukhraj Bal. The entire incident was caught on CCTV camera. The incident is stated to be two months. However, its recording has now surfaced.
Women’s Commission to take notice
Punjab Women’s Commission chairperson Manisha Gulati said it was sad that the MLA was a victim of domestic violence. So far, the matter was a personal affair but now its video has come on the public platform. Therefore, the Commission will take notice of it.
Punjab Women Development Minister Dr Baljit Kaur said no complaint had been made by MLA Baljinder Kaur in this regard. She is associated with the party. Therefore, action will be sought from CM Bhagwant Mann in this matter.
