Chandigarh: Senior Akali leader and former cabinet minister Bikram Singh Majithia today alleged that during the three-month tenure of the Channi government, a scam of Rs 1,000 crore had taken place and the money was transferred to Delhi.
On the issue of suspension of Deputy Director of Food and Supplies Department Rakesh Kumar Singla from service, he said that he had exposed the matter in 2020. He had said that Singla would flee abroad as he had foreign citizenship, but despite this, he was not removed, but Singla was promoted.
Majithia, who was here to appear before the district court in Mohali, said Punjab’s excise policy has also been framed sitting in Delhi.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Hw said that Sisodia has been summoned by the CBI. “If there was no glitch in the liquor policy, then why did the Delhi government withdraw the policy?
