Provinces are beginning to announce plans to ease or even remove COVID-19 health restrictions.
The Quebec government says most COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted across the province by March 14th, except for mask mandates and the vaccine passport system.
Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe’s government is going to drop its vaccine passport requirement as of Monday and end its indoor mask mandate at the end of the month.
He says the passport has created deep divisions in the province.
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney will have an announcement later today on his plan reducing COVID-19 health restrictions in the province.
