B.C. is reporting 753 new cases of COVID-19, for a total of 221,235 cases in the province. including one epi-linked case, for a total of 224,998 cases in the province. Cases almost doubled in a week B.C. reported 379 cases of COVID-19 last week
There are 3,878 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, and 218,616 people who tested positive have recovered. Of the active cases, 184 individuals are in hospital and 70 are in intensive care. The remaining people are recovering at home in self-isolation.

In the past 24 hours, three new deaths have been reported, for an overall total of 2,396.

There have been 135 cases of the Omicron variant of concern identified in B.C.:

There have been no new health-care facility outbreaks. The outbreak at Ponderosa Lodge (Interior Health) has been declared over. There are no active outbreaks in health-care facilities.
