1,667 new cases of COVID-19 and 41 deaths have been reported in British Columbia over the weekend.
Dr. Bonnie Henry, provincial health officer of British Columbia said, “There are 9,718 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. There are 341 individuals currently hospitalized with COVID-19, 80 of whom are in intensive care. “
So far, 47,067 people have been tested positive for COVID- 19 and 35,455 have been recovered. 765 people have died from COVID- 19 In British Columbia.
“We are starting to see a levelling in the COVID-19 curve. At the same time, we are also seeing hundreds of new people each day with confirmed cases, many of whom have become severely ill, requiring care and treatment in hospital. ’Said Bonnie Henry.
