Ontario: Police have identified the 21-year-old girl who was shot at a gas station in Mississauga on Saturday night.
At 10:40 p.m., investigators were called to Petro Canada in the Creditview Road and Britannia Roads area. The girl was shot multiple times outside the gas station and was declared dead on the spot, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Pawanpreet Kaur of Brampton.
The police later confirmed that Pawanpreet Kaur worked at the gas station but it was not clear what was the reason behind the fatal shooting. According to investigators, the shooting was done to target the girl. One of the suspect was seen fleeing from the spot on foot in black clothes, also wearing gloves.
The police investigation is underway and suspects have not been identified yet.
