On October 5, 2021 at approximately 9:56 pm, the Surrey RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the area of the 12200 block of 80 Avenue. Upon police attendance, an adult victim was located suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite all attempts to revive the individual the victim succumbed to their injuries.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called and will be working in partnership with the Surrey RCMP Major Crime Section.
Police are currently in the evidence gathering phase, no further information will be provided at this time.
