New Delhi: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 11-month-old son child was killed by a father after trowing him into the Narmada canal in Rajasthan’s Jalore.
The accused had a love marriage two years ago. Due to unemployment, he was unable to manage his household expenses and planned to kill the child.
He left from Rajasthan to Gujarat on the pretext of leaving child with his grandparents, police said.
The incident took place in Sanchore, Jalore. About 24 hours later, the body of the innocent was found. Police have arrested the accused father. The accused, Mukesh (24), is a resident of Nalodhar village under Vav police station area of Banaskantha.
On Thursday, Mukesh had dinner at the Ram Rasoda set up for Ramdevra yatris in Siddheshwar (Sanchore) village before the murder of his 11-month-old son, police station ASI Raju Singh said.
He later told his wife, ‘The family is angry due to their love marriage, so he he would go alone to meet his grandparents.
