Toronto: Three teenagers have been arrested by Toronto police for stabbing a woman in the face with a knife at the Spadina subway station last weekend.
On Sunday, February 12, at 6:34 pm, police officers were called to the station. Police said the three miscreants got into an argument with a woman over some issue.
One of them spat on the woman’s face and pushed her in turn. The male suspect brandished a knife, and slashed the woman in her face causing facial injuries and all three suspects fled the scene. The woman was not seriously injured, police said.
Police said that A 16-year-old boy and two 15-year-old charged with two counts of Assault with a Weapon, Assault a Peace Officer While Carrying a Weapon, two counts of Assault, Carrying Concealed Weapon and Possession of a Weapon.
Police did not disclose their identities under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
