Chandigarh: The Punjab Police has changed its campaign against gun culture on the orders of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today. The Punjab government has now given people 3 days to remove posts related to gun culture uploaded on various social platforms, said DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav.
Any kind of photo and video related to the display of weapons on various social media platforms has been ordered to be removed within 72 hours. The DGP said that instructions have been given by CM Bhagwant Mann to give 3 days time for this. In such a situation, all people should remove objectionable content related to gun culture in the meantime.
No cases will be registered for 3 days
Now in the next 3 days, cases will not be registered on posts related to gun culture uploaded on social media. It is worth mentioning that in order to prevent gun culture in Punjab, the police was constantly registering cases and taking action to arrest people. Meanwhile, an 10-year-old boy and his father was also booked. But after facing backlash, the Punjab Police quashed the FIR.
