Toronto: Police officers were called in after reporting a shooting at 5:37 a.m. in the Logan Avenue and Fenwick Avenue areas.
The 28-year-old man was rushed to a hospital with injuries. His wounds are not said to be life-threatening. Police said the man was shot in the leg.
The police in a tweet wrote that reports of person shot at Logan Av & Fenwick Av and officers o/s scene conducting investigation. Victim has been transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, Danforth Av, which was closed between Carlaw Av & Logan Avenue, has been opened for commuters while the investigation is underway. The police have sought details for the suspect.
