Three were killed in the Rhode Island shooting incident in Pawtucket during a hockey game. According to local officials, three more people were injured in this incident and the suspect was identified as Robert Dorgan. In addition, they said that this was a targeted shooting following a family dispute rather than a random act of violence, where the suspect came to watch the game of his own family member. The suspect died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds, after the intervention of a bystander. Governor Dan McKee expressed condolences for the victims. This shooting is considered as a tragic incident because a shooting happened at Brown University where a suspect killed two students and a professor in the attack.
