Sky train service was shut down on Sunday night after large fire broke out at New Westminster’s Pier Park on Sunday night.
Te city’s fire department has said that the fire has led to huge destruction.
Ater this fire, classes in Qayqayt Elementary, Queen Elizabeth Elementary and Queensborough Middle School in Westminister were suspended.
Although staff will be on site, parents have been advised not to send their wards to the schools.
The New Westminster Police Department’s Major Crime Unit will look into the details of the accident.
