BC’s Police watchdog called in for the investigation of a death in Vancouver Tim Hortons.
The incident occurred at Tim Hortons near Main Street and Terminal Avenue Thursday night.
Vancouver police were called to the Tim Hortons around 6pm for a report that a man had been in the washroom for more than half an hour.Restaurant staff were trying to close for the day and had asked police to remove him.
Const. Tania Visintin said “when the man came out he was agitated and aggressive which resulted in a physical altercation.”
VPD said Man went into medical distress during the investigation. Paramedics were called, but the man died at the scene.
