Vancouver: Vancouver Police have re-arrested Tyler Strathdee, a dangerous offender with a history of violence and sexual assault, following an incident in the Downtown Eastside on Sunday night. Strathdee had been released from prison in Alberta and moved to Vancouver, where he was previously identified as a high risk to commit further violence. A Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued after a criminal investigation, and Strathdee was taken into custody at his Downtown Eastside halfway house. He remains in custody.
