Ottawa: Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announced the implementation of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021. These immigration programs will be managed under the Express Entry System.
Using the new no-objection certificate (NOC) formats will allow Canada to gain global talent for sectors such as healthcare, construction and transportation.
As many as 16 new occupations have been added to the express entry, including Nurse aides, Dental assistants, long term care aides, hospital attendants, elementary and secondary school teacher assistants and transport truck drivers among others.
The NOC system can be used to track all types of job seekers in the Canadian labour market. It also gives information about the changes in architecture as well as the schedule of the work.
The minister said that Immigration is not only good for our communities but also for our economy. This is very important. The Government of Canada decided to welcome new immigrants to end the ongoing labor shortage in the country, who will also bring with them a box of skills to help our economy.
