Chandigarh: The Punjab Police have put up posters of absconding Amritpal Singh, the head of the Waris Punjab De, at Batala railway station in Gurdaspur as well as several other public. In the posters, the police have described Amritpal Singh as involved in many cases.
It also appealed to the public to inform the police immediately if they have any information about Amritpal.
The police have written in the poster that appropriate reward will be given to the person giving information and their name will also be kept secret.
Amritpal Singh was named in several cases. The police have been looking for him since he gave police a slip on March 18 but police have yet to nab him. Now, the police have pasted posters of Amritpal Singh at railway stations, bus stands, and other public places.
When contacted, DSP Lalit Kumar said the posters were put up by the police. Amritpal will soon be in police custody. He also appealed to the people to share information related to Amritpal.
