Toronto: RCMP have arrested a father and son in Richmond Hill on July 28, saying they were planning a serious violent attack in Toronto. The two men, Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi and Mostafa Eldidi, face six terror-related charges.
Court documents reveal that between July 1 and July 29, the men were accused of aiding the Islamic State and conspiring to commit murder for the group. They are alleged to have bought weapons, including an axe and a machete, to support these plans.
Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi is also charged with committing an aggravated assault for the Islamic State in June 2015.
