Ottawa: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) of Canada today has invited 4,750 candidates to apply for permanent residence under the Express Entry system.
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of lowest-ranked candidate invited was 491 for this draw, which is lowest since September 2021. The number of ITAs in this draw is the same as the previous two on November 9 and October 26.
CRS score has been continuing to drop in eleventh all-program draw since July 6. IRCC resumed this program this year after a hiatus of about one and half years due to unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic.
In the latest draw, tie-breaking rule is applicable for October 23, 2022 and if more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Under the express entry draw system, Candidates from the Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades and Provincial Nominee Program were eligible for this round of invitations.
