Washington: There has been a crossfire once again in Texas, USA. Eight people have been killed in a shooting at a shopping mall in Texas. The police have killed the shooter. Seven people were injured in the firing, including children. Authorities said the gunman opened fire at the Allen Premium Outlets mall in Allen, Texas.

According to reports, the police have killed the suspected shooter in retaliation. Some pictures and videos of the incident are going viral on social media. In these, blood-soaked people can be seen falling to the ground. The attacker killed is also seen in a video. The gun used in the attack is also visible near his body.

The Colin County Chief Officer’s Office (Sheriff’s) confirmed the shooting. Also, people have been injured. The Allen Police Department on its official Twitter handle advised people to avoid the area.

A spokesman for the Sheriff’s office said some victims were trapped in the mall. However, his condition is not known at the moment, the spokesman said.

According to a video that has gone viral on social media, several employees present at the mall have taken shelter inside the building. Shopkeeper Jill Woolley told a local news station that she was inside with her 79-year-old mother when the shots were fired. “I knew immediately it was a gunshot and then we lay down on the floor,” Woolley told media.
