Bhopal: In a shocking incident, a four-year-old girl was raped and thrown into bushes in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district. The innocent girl was found in a critical condition in the bushes about 2 km from her house after 16 hours.
The matter came to light when the police detained the suspect after the girl went missing from the house. The accused confessed during police interrogation that he raped the girl and threw her in the bushes.
On Monday, a 4-year-old girl went missing from her house. The girl had come to her aunt’s house on the occasion of Diwali. Her aunt’s family works as a tenant in the fields and lives in a hut there.
According to the police, there was a dhaba nearby and accused Rajkumar, who works at the dhaba, used to give mobile to the girl for the last several days.
When the girl went missing, the family first launched a hunt for her, but didn’t find her. They late lodged a complaint with the police. Police traced the mobile location of the suspected accused and nabbed him.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to the police that he raped the girl and threw her in the bushes. When the police reached there, girl was found in a critical condition. After this, the girl was referred to Indore for treatment.
The Chief Minister and the Home Minister have instructed to take strict action. The accused Rajkumar has been arrested under Section 376 of the POCSO Act.
